Ladies Night Out: Super Soups
Friday, February 28th
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at PPC
Calling women of all ages who like soup, stew, and or chili! Let’s come together for fellowship and a fun evening of eating and voting for your favorite soup. If you want to participate in the tasting/rating part of the evening, bringing a muffin tin will allow you to easily handle several soups at one time.
Fellowship Sunday
Sunday, March 9th @ 12 Noon
Our 2nd Sunday potluck provides an opportunity to talk with someone new. This way we as a church can get to know each other better, allowing relationships to grow. Please put it on your calendar and bring a dish to share.
Every other Thursday morning
6:30 am - 7:30 am
Join us at Round the Clock Diner on Rte. 30. Drop-ins welcome!
We meet for Breakfast, Fellowship and to discuss the previous Sunday’s sermon. We will occasionally intersperse study of a particular book of the bible with personal testimonies and/or the sharing of passages that have had an impact on one of our lives. We try to save time at the end for prayer requests and prayer. We plan to always wrap things up by 7:30, but those who are able are always welcome to stick around and chat afterwards. Click for next date.
For more information contact Chris Palmer or the church office.
Games & Appetizers
Friday, March 21st
Game night is always a fun night of food, fellowship, and of course games. Mark the date on your calendar!
Please bring your favorite board or card game and an appetizer to share.
PRAYER MEETING
Every Thursday @ 6:30 PM
A small group of members of Providence meet each Thursday night at 6:30 PM in Room 1 and are dedicated to prayer. Our fellowship is open and welcoming to new participants. We generally meet and pray for an hour.
During our prayers each week we pray for the leaders and members of Providence as well as those home bound. Current, pressing prayer needs are also discussed for our church, community and nation. Then we begin with a reading from the Bible. Participants are encouraged to pray "in concert" out loud, but are also welcomed to silently pray along with others. The time together each week is a precious blessing.
Contact person for this group is Nancy Dickey.
Saturday, April 5th
A workday is scheduled for various projects around our building and grounds, that need to be done. There are tasks for everyone regardless of skill level. Please set aside this day to join us because many hands make light work. Contact any deacon for more details.
